WIldflower Aesthetic Co. is a new endeavour for several well-established nurse-practitioners, aestheticians, and hair stylists based in Sherwood Park, AB. Combining their wide-breadth of expertise into one location, this collective of professionals had experienced enough of the impersonal nature of the aesthetics industry and decided they wanted to represent a different mindset in the medical aesthetics landscape where personalized care is prioritized over profit.

The group was in need of branding assets for a name they conceptualized – WILDFLOWER AESTHETIC CO.

With a short artistic brief and “open garden to sow”, we drew inspiration from the myriad of wildflowers scattering the hills and plains of Alberta – many seen just outside of the windows of their offices. Colours, shapes, densities and sensations were considered as we scrolled through over 50 different typographic combinations and wildflower varietals to find the right elements suited for this unique-yet-familiar, clinic that does not feel like a clinic.

Botanically-relevant wildflower illustrations were used in the creation of patterns and iconography that have propagated through as social media graphics, website accents and backgrounds, as well as a stunning stand-off foyer art piece exhibiting the values instilled within the space.

Following the completion of their interior decorating and equipment install, the group held an intimate Grand Opening to introduce their client base to this new enterprise. Featuring the very cute theme of a person “travelling” between the offices as if crossing borders on a European tour, guests were given a WILDFLOWER Passport to stamp and scribble as they met each of the service providers and team members.

I am excited and proud to see how this brand has grown over the last few months, especially as its values resonate so closely to my own. We are currently underway in the permit approval process for their exterior signage and back-lit pylon inserts and look forward to adding updates here soon.
